Strong Foundation Support
Strong Foundation Support is a counselling practice based in Cairns, led by Allan Bunyan, a Certified Practising Counsellor (CPCA), providing individual counselling for adults and young people aged 14 and over.
I offer counselling in Cairns for anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, and major life changes. I also provide counselling support for NDIS participants where counselling is an appropriate support within their plan.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in practical, evidence-based modalities including CBT, solution-focused therapy, Gestalt therapy, and emotionally focused work. I provide a calm, steady space where clients can work through challenges and develop practical strategies to improve their wellbeing.
Sessions are available in person in Cairns and via secure telehealth Australia-wide. After-hours and limited weekend appointments are available.
